Breast Surgery (Breast Reduction)

No. Most often, simple sedatives are sufficient to calm the pain during the first days following the operation.

Before the operation, the surgeon shows you the drawing of the scars. They will evolve for about 1 year. Ultimately, they will be very discreet regardless of the patient's skin type, but they are only very rarely invisible.

It takes up 3 to 4 weeks.

Breast Surgery (Breast Augmentation)

It all depends on the position of the implants in relation to the pectoral muscles. When the implants are before the muscles, this is usually not very painful and can be very well calmed by prescribed analgesics.

In retro muscular position, the pain is more important. It will be treated effectively from the operating room, by a prescription of strong analgesics, which will make the after-effects bearable.

Silhouette surgery (liposuction)

This technique makes it possible to sculpt the body and not to make the patient lose weight. Liposuction permanently removes localized excess fat ("saddlebags", "love handles" and internal face of the thighs and knees) which will not reform if the patient regains weight.

The intervention on certain areas requires taking analgesics for a few days. This is the case, for example, with "love handles" or the knee region.

You have to wait a month.

Yes, the compression sheath makes it possible to redraw the skin on the new volume and to redefine the new contours of the silhouette. It should be worn as much as possible for 4 to 6 weeks (20 hours a day).

Facial surgery (otoplasty)

Protruding ears surgery can be performed from the age of 7. Growth is then correct and the child has acquired the maturity necessary to express any discomfort linked to this disgrace.

Aesthetic medicine (botulinum toxin injection)

The duration of action of the most frequently used hyaluronic acids is 12 to 18 months. They resolve spontaneously and completely within this period. A regular treatment plan makes it possible to anticipate the complete disappearance, by scheduling clinical and photographic controls.

Good daily hydration, sun protection and the avoidance of tobacco slow down skin aging.

Yes, there can be side effects after injections. At the slightest concern, do not hesitate to contact the practitioner to be reassured and if necessary auscultate.

In all cases, the rare undesirable effects which may appear are transient. It can be:

• Redness localized at the injection sites. It rarely persists beyond 3 to 6 days.

• Bruises ("bruises"): bruises that can last for a few days.

• Edema: swelling, most often around the eyes, can gradually set in over 4 to 5 days, then decrease over a few days to a few weeks.

• Redness and bruising are easily concealed by applying a skin tone corrector.

Sensitivity disorders: a feeling of tension or fixedness of the forehead, mouth or neck, depending on the areas injected, as well as a change in sensitivity often linked to a sensation of cardiac arrest may persist for several days.

• Fleeting eye or facial pain remains very exceptional.

The use of doses adapted to each case, in particular according to the muscular power makes it possible to avoid the “frozen” aspect often feared by the patients.
